KinderGym Programs
Little Tots
The little Tots program for 18 months - 4 years olds is offered for competent walkers and consists of a structured gymnastic environment with an emphasis on following instructions and extensive use of the equipment for movement based physical activity. Children participating in Little Tots need an adult to accompany them on the gym floor at all times.
Pre School
Pre School for 4 - 5 years is a stepping stone from Little Tots to our recreational program. Children may also join this program who are new to the sport. Parents take a step back and watch as their children develop balance, coordination and spatial awareness, as well as learning gymnastics skills appropriate to their age and physical development. The emphasis is very much on all children having fun and building confidence while being active.
In Pre School we introduce the concept of lining up and waiting for a turn and use circuits for developing skills and for structured play. Children in this program will progress to recreational classes when they begin school.

Competitive Programs
Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)
Participants are selected for this program as a result of their gymnastic ability, and often quick progression through the recreational programs. Participating in a competitive program involves an increase in training hours to focus on correct technique, body shapes and specialisation on specific pieces of apparatus.
Children selected for the competitive stream demonstrate natural talent and are therefore offered a range of opportunities to develop their skills and abilities. We have gymnasts in our WAG programs competiting within the ALP and AGC streams. Competitive training is all year around, with participants having the opportunity to represent Flyaway Gymnastics by competing across the state and at a national level.
